NASCAR’s Camping World Truck Series returns to Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada in 2014, racing Friday through Sunday, August 29th through 31st. The track, formerly known as Mosport Park, is co-owned by NASCAR road course “ringer” Ron Fellows. The track will also host the inaugural season of the TUDOR United Sports Car Championship in 2014.
The 2014 season at CTMP kicks off with the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, the SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series, the Pirelli World Challenge Championship, the Canadian Touring Car Championship, the Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Michelin and the Toyo Tires F1600 Championship on Victoria Day weekend, May 16th through 18th, followed by the Canadian Historic Grand Prix, June 13th through 15th. The TUDOR United Sports Car Championship weekend is Thursday through Sunday, July 10th through 13th and also features the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, the Cooper Tire Prototype Lites, the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge, the SCCA Playboy Mazda MX-5 Cup and Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America. The Canadian Superbike Doubleheader Weekend takes place Friday through Sunday, August 15th through 17th, while the Truck Series weekend, also featuring the Canadian Tire Series, the Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada and the Canadian Touring Car Championship, round out the season Friday through Sunday, August 29th through 31st.
