Bristol Dragway, opened since 1965, is better known to fans as “Thunder Valley” thanks to the acoustics provided by the two mountains it sits between – and the roar of the engines. The track hosts the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals on Father’s Day weekend each season, and in 2014, the event takes place Friday through Sunday, June 13th through 15th.

In addition to the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, Bristol Dragway has also hosted events for the X-Treme Drag Racing League, the NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League, the AHDRL (All Harley Drag Racing League) and the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, as well as monster truck shows, car shows and weekly drag racing.

Tickets are now on sale for the 14th annual Thunder Valley Nationals through www.ticketmaster.com: Friday admission tickets are $30 and $35, Saturday tickets are $45 and $55, and Sunday tickets range in price from $20 to $55.
