Joe Gibbs Racing driver Matt Kenseth was the fastest JGR car at Sonoma Raceway on Saturday during qualifying for the Toyota/SaveMart 350 on Sunday. Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch will join Kenseth in the top 20 at the first road course race of the Sprint Cup Series season.
Kenseth qualified the No. 20 Dollar General Toyota Camry at a speed of 95.605 mph (1:14.933), fast enough for 14th alongside Brad Keselowski. Hamlin qualified the No. 11 FedEx Freight Toyota right behind Kenseth in 16th with his fast lap of 95.479 mph (1:14.032), starting next to Jeff Gordon, while Busch starts 20th in the No. 18 M&Ms Pretzel Toyota with a speed of 95.378 mph (1:15.112) alongside Greg Biffle.
Jamie McMurray won the pole for the race with a speed of 96.350 mph (1:14.354), with AJ Allmendinger starting on the outside pole with a speed of 96.088 mph (1:14.557). Find the complete lineup here.

JGR driver Elliott Sadler led the team with a ninth-place finish at Road America on Saturday, site of the Nationwide Series Gardner Denver 200 Fired Up by Johnsonville. Sam Hornish Jr. and Kenny Habul also came home with top 15 finishes at the 4.048-mile, 14-turn road course in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
Sadler, who started the race from the 11th position in the No. 11 OneMain Financial Toyota Camry, remains in second place in points, 10 behind leader Regan Smith. Hornish Jr., who started fourth in the No. 54 Monster Energy Toyota, finished 12th – his first finish outside the top five in three races at Road America – and Habul, in the No. 20 SunEnergy1 Toyota, finished 14th after starting from the 20th position.
