The viewership, attendance and/or economic impact could be the biggest money-making Super Bowl Sunday ever, according to TicketCity who compiled the following stats.

TV viewership is projected around 108 million. Ad revenue is projected at $300 million, estimating $4 million per 30-second commercial, the most expensive in the history of the game broadcast. An 'economic impact' of $550 million. Super Bowl promoters expect at least a half million people, including about 150,000 from outside the greater New York-New Jersey area. Metlife Stadium, even at average capacity, will have the 3rd highest attendance in the last two decades. The average sale price for this year’s game is $3324, 40% higher than last year, with luxury suites listed for as much as half a million dollars. Festivities range from the game itself to parties and local concerts in the area during the days leading up to it.

Super Bowl Boulevard

The 13-block stretch in the middle of Manhattan will offer numerous attractions. Meet current and former NFL players on Broadway between 34th and 47th streets. The Super Bowl Tobogan Run that goes through Times Square and the NFL Extra Points Kick, which allows people a chance to kick a ball through the uprights

Concerts

On Saturday night, WFAN’s “Big Hello to Brooklyn” at the Barclays Center will headline The Red Hot Chili Peppers. SchoolBoy Q and Mack Wilds will perform at Hot 97’s “Light It Up” concert.

The top Super Bowl parties in the New York Area on Super Bowl Sunday are the $1,000 to attend “Leather and Laces” party that will be attended by Victoria’s Secret models. If fans pay $1,500 for a ticket to the Men’s Fitness and Shape Magazine Super Bowl Party, they can see Mary J. Blige, Marc Anthony and John Legend perform, as well as comedian Jeff Ross. Celebrity and star-studded parties are not open to the public, but here are a few that fans may attend if they purchase tickets.
