2014 is your year to take care of YOU! These techniques are not expensive nor are they extravagant. The simplicity makes it easier to take the right steps to restoring and recovering our body's beauty and health.
Water: 8-10 cups of water daily makes for the first resolution. Obtain large water bottles. Take a permanent marker and mark the water bottles by cup measurements. Write also different hours of the day, from morning to evening, for when you will drink each “cup”. Finally, vary up the flavor by adding fresh fruit for natural sweetening.
Vegetables and Fruits: Since guidelines keep changing for the right serving sizes, the focus is simply on incorporating fruits and vegetables into a diet plan effectively. Before eating any other portion of a prepared meal, eat the raw or prepared vegetables first. Keep a Ziploc with the uncooked vegetable or fruit in a location you will look at often. For example, right next to the computer screen in your office.
Sun-screen: Make it a must to include sunscreen before stepping out each and every day. This includes the remainder of this winter season. This also includes rainy weather even though the sun is not out. Remember the basics when selecting a sunscreen. Sun Protection Factor (SPF) prevents against ultraviolet B (UVB). Different numbers for the SPF signify the duration of effect. Our skin can naturally protect against harmful UVB rays for about 20 minutes. 15 SPF protects 15 times as long, which would be about 5 hours. Be sure to get sun-screens with ultraviolet A (UVA) protection as well-read the labels diligently! Finally, remember to put on sunscreen at least 15-20 minutes before stepping out. Sunscreen needs time to absorb into the skin to provide the most beneficial effects.
Moisturizer: Hydration is only one of the many benefits moisturizers provide. They are also a non-medical way of treating dry skin and associated skin conditions like eczema. They also protect and preserve healthy skin. Moisturizers can also include sun-screen. Achieve two skin-care resolution goals by one skin-care regime.
Combing Hair: It is not easy to achieve soft and silky hair by combing-there is an art involved. Start from the tips of hair rather than roots. However, make sure to get to the roots as well because this stimulates blood circulation and new hair growth. Finally, break hair into chunks when combing: make sure each strand gets a run-through!
