The First Annual San Diego Travel & Adventure Show is headed to San Diego’s Convention Center this Saturday, March 29th and Sunday March 30th. If you’re looking to expand your knowledge on all things travel-related, or just pick up a new recipe, this is the place to do it. Expect travel and epicurean events, information, and special travel-related activities and this first-time and one-of-a-kind event.

The Taste of Travel Stage is designed for foodies to looking to learn about global cuisines, form expert chefs. This show promises to be entertaining as well as informative to those interested in international dishes. On Saturday, expect cooking demonstrations ranging from vegetarian lasagna, to lamb sliders with lemon mayo and even a traditional pozole recipe. On Sunday, learn about healthy mixology from Wine, Dine and Workout host, Susan Irby. This fitness expert and 8-time-best-selling author will teach you how to make a kale antioxidant mocktail cocktail from 1:15pm-2:00pm.

The T&A Show will also feature a number of well-known travel speakers and celebrities, like Samantha Brown and Don Wildman of the Travel Channel, as well as Patricia Shultz, author of 1,000 Places to See Before You Die, and Leon Logothetis, author of Amazing Adventures of a Nobody and KPBS host Jorge Meraz.

If you’re looking for fun activities to participate in, they’ll have that too. A rock wall complete with experienced professionals on hand to supervise climbing experiences, and the popular Bubble Roller Land Orbs, perfect for the kiddos or adults who want to play like the kids.
