MRI Interventions, Inc will sponsor of the 2014 Parkinson's Unity Walk in New York City's Central
Park on Saturday, April 26.

Founded in 1998, MRI Interventions is specializes in the development of “ the next generation of minimally invasive surgical procedures in the brain and heart, and is committed to developing technologies that expand treatment options for patients, such as our ClearPoint system, which enables 'asleep' deep brain stimulation surgery to treat symptoms of Parkinson's disease. Our goal is to improve the lives of people who have been dealt the incredible burden of a neurological disorder like Parkinson's, and we are happy to back the Unity Walk in its similar efforts."

The Parkinson's Unity Walk was formed in 1994 to raise awareness and funds for research to find a cure for Parkinson's. Since its beginning, the Unity Walk has grown from 200 participants in the first event to over to 10,000 participants in the 2013 Walk. Donations from the Unity Walk have gone to support research for major U.S. Parkinson's foundations including American Parkinson Disease Association, National Parkinson Foundation Inc., Parkinson's Action Network, Parkinson's Disease Foundation, The Michael J.
