The 2014 Academy Awards live stream and TV coverage is set to take place tonight at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California. Anticipation from fans across the globe is growing by the minute as they eagerly wait to see if their favorite actor/actress will take home an Oscar trophy.

According to a LA Times report on March 1, the 86th Oscars are scheduled to get underway at 8:30 p.m. EST with the preview show beginning at 7:00 p.m. and with fans having so many different options on how to view this year’s Oscars you don’t have to worry about missing one second of the action!

The Oscars will be aired nationally on ABC and can also be seen live online through the Watch ABC website or you can download the Watch ABC app to your smart phone.

So who will take home the hardware at tonight’s Academy Awards?

The big favorites to win according to odds makers tonight are “12 Years a Slave” for best picture, Cate Blanchett for best actress in her role in the movie "Blue Jasmine", and Matthew McConaughey for best actor in "Dallas Buyers Club".

While “Blue Jasmine” star Cate Blanchett is considered a shoe-in to win the Best Actress Award, it seems Amy Adams has been getting a lot of hype lately for her role in “American Hustle.” Adams is up for her fifth nomination tonight.

The favorites don't always take home the hardware, but if any movie could pull off the upset in the "Best Picture" category it may be "Gravity" or "American Hustle."

"12 Years a Slave" is such a big favorite according to Bovada, that they aren't worth wagering on. At -3000, you would have to wager $3000 just to win $100. That's not a smart investment.
