Olympic events will continue on Sunday, February 9 with competition in biathlon, ice hockey, luge, figure skating and ski jumping, among other sports. The day will feature several final medal events and many medals will be awarded.
The figure skating team event will continue with the men’s free skate, the women’s free skate and the ice dance free dance. The team event is a new one introduced for the 2014 Olympic Games.
Snowboarding also will feature a new event on February 9. Women’s slopestyle will be contested for the first time, as the slopestyle events also were added for the 2014 Olympic Games. The women’s final begins at 1:15 p.m. Sochi time.
