The 2014 NHL playoffs live stream and TV coverage continues Monday with three games on the schedule, including Game 6 between the Colorado Avalanche and the Minnesota Wild. The Avalanche leads the best-of-seven series 3-2 and can advance on to Round 2 tonight with a win. However the way the Wild have played in this series it won't be that easy for Colorado. Tonight's latest NHL live stream action will be must see playoff hockey!
According to Sportsline on April 28, the Minnesota Wild have been a minute away from victory twice in this series, only to let the Avalanche tie the game and fall short in overtime. Game 1 was looking like a Minnesota win until they gave up two third period goals and the eventual game winner in OT. The same happened in Game 5 when the Wild were a little over 1 minute away from taking a 3-2 lead in the series until P.A. Parenteau scored at the 18:46 mark to once again send a game into overtime. Once again Colorado got the OT win.
The Wild have played well enough to win this series, but they have crumbled in crunch time, something they can't do today if they want to set up a winner take all Game 7. Minnesota had a great home record at 26-10-5 and they are hoping that they can squeeze out one more win and extend this series.
Las Vegas odds makers have Minnesota as the favorite in Game 6 at -155 with the over/under number total goals set at 5. It's interesting that Vegas would have the Wild at such a big favorite for a team that is down in the series.
Fans can catch all of the exciting Game 6 action tonight on CNBC nationally and streaming live online through NBC Sports Extra live beginning at 9 p.m. EST. Will the Wild win Game 6 and extend the series or will the Avalanche advance on to Round 2 tonight?
