The 2014 NHL playoffs live stream and TV coverage continues Sunday with four games on the schedule, including Game 2 between the Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins. The Red Wings stole Game 1 Friday night from Boston by the final score of 1-0. Pavel Datsyuk scored the only goal of Game 1 with 3:01 left in the third period lifting the Wings to the early series lead. With Game 2 on the horizon, the NHL playoff live stream coverage will be must see action for Wings and Bruins fans.

According to an ESPN report on April 19 the top-seeded Bruins finished the season with a NHL best 117 points and the 2013-14 Presidents Cup trophy, yet they can't solve the No. 8 seeded Red Wings - at least not so far. Detroit defeated the Bruins three out of four times in the regular season and have now taken a 1-0 lead in their best-of-seven first round series. Is Game 2 a must win for the Bruins? Yes.

These opening series' in the NHL can be tricky to predict, but when you are a No. 1 seed facing a No.8 seed, you can't afford to drop the first two games of a series, especially at home. Win or lose this series, Detroit knows they have no pressure on them. After all they aren't supposed to win, which actually makes them a dangerous team.

Boston's Tuukka Rask led the NHL with seven shutouts this season and played well enough in Game 1 to get the win, but was out done by Detroit's Jimmy Howard. Howard's seasonal numbers weren't as impressive as Rask's, however Howard stopped all 25 shots he faced and held on in the end to earn the win for Detroit.

Las Vegas odds makers have Boston as the favorite in Game 2 at -180 with the over/under number set at 5. It's hard to believe that Boston is such a big favorite once again against a team that they have lost 8 of the last 9 too, but they are. Nevertheless this should be one great game.

Fans can catch all of the action on NBC nationally and streaming live online through NBC Sports Extra starting at 3 p.m. ET. Will the Bruins tie the series at 1-1 or will Detroit head back to Motown up 2-0?
