The 2014 NFL season schedule gets underway tonight with the Packers vs Seahawks live stream and TV coverage thanks to NBC. The Packers will have their hands full when they invade CenturyLink Field this evening as they will not only be battling the defending Super Bowl champs, but their fans as well. Seattle fans (known as the 12th man) are some of the loudest and craziest in all sports, and the Seahawks love them for it!

According to a Sportsline report on Sept. 4, the Seahawks may be the Super Bowl champions, but they aren't satisfied. Seattle wants to prove that last season was no fluke and are ready to make a run at back-to-back titles.

"We've all been waiting to get this thing started," coach Pete Carroll, whose team is 15-1 at home during the regular season the past two years, told the Seahawks' official website.

Seattle's defense was unreal good in 2013. The Seahawks led the NFL in scoring defense (14.4 points per game) and average yards allowed (273.6). If they can even come close to those numbers again this season they will be well on there way to another NFC championship.

The Packers are coming off an odd season in 2013. Aaron Rodgers missed a lot of time, the team finished 8-7-1, yet they could have (and maybe should have) advanced to the Divisional Round of the NFC playoffs but poor second half play led to a 23-20 loss vs San Francisco. With Rodgers healthy, look for the Pack to be back in 2014.

Las Vegas odds makers have the Seahawks listed as 5 point favorites with the over/under number listed at 46.5. While both teams will be up for this game, the Seahawks will show if they really have the hunger to repeat. If they do, they will win this game by 7 or more.

Pick - Seahawks

Fans will be able to catch all of the action for tonight's game on NBC nationally and streaming live online through NBC Sports Extra. The game is scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m. ET.
