Week 1 of the NFL preseason continues today with six games on the schedule including the Saints vs Rams live stream and TV coverage thanks to the NFL Network. Both New Orleans and St. Louis may not be the overall favorites to win their divisions but don't be surprised if they do.

According to a Rant Sports report on Aug. 8, New Orleans has the talent to reclaim the title of the top team in the NFC. The Saints finished 11-5 last season finishing in second place in the NFC South, one game behind the Carolina Panthers. However with the additions of Jairus Byrd, Champ Bailey and rookie Brandin Cooks the expectations are once again high in Big Easy. Of course having Drew Brees lead the offense never hurts either!

The Rams on the other hand were much better than their 7-9 record of 2013 indicates. St. Louis lost starting QB Sam Bradford after Week 7, yet the Rams played good football. They lost to Seattle and the 49ers twice, but they were competitive until the very end, especially in their 14-9 loss to the eventual Super Bowl champion Seahawks in Week 8.

Sam Bradford has looked good in training camp, however like most preseason Week 1 games don't expect to see much of Bradford or Brees tonight. The Rams will likely play veteran Shaun Hill, and rookie Garrett Gilbert.

Tonight's preseason game is meaningless in the standings, yet it could be the first sign of good things to come in St. Louis in 2014. Las Vegas odds makers have St. Louis listed as a 2 point favorite with the over/under number set at 38.

Fans will be able to catch all of the action for this game on the NFL Network nationally and streaming live online through the NFL football package. Opening kick-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.
