Week 1 of the Top 25 NCAA football schedule continues today with several key games including Clemson vs Georgia live stream and TV coverage courtesy of ESPN.

According to CBS Sports on Aug. 30, when No. 12 Georgia and No. 16 Clemson square-off this evening it may shape the direction for each team's season. While that may sound a bit strange being that this is only Week 1, it could very well be true now that there is a new playoff system in tact.

Of course the loser of today's big game surely will not be out of the National Championship picture, but it will make things that much more difficult. The players on both teams know that this opening game is very unique.

"You always want to (win) the beauty contest," Georgia cornerback Damian Swann said Tuesday. "That will be a help later on down the line."

Fans of both Clemson and Georgia will have to brace themselves for much different looking teams from 2013. The Tigers will be without offensive stars Sammy Watkins and Tajh Boyd, while Georgia will be missing one of the best quarterbacks in their school's history in Aaron Murray. The Bulldogs are hoping to become even tougher on defense this season under new defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt who left the defending champion Florida State Seminoles to head to Athens.

Las Vegas odds makers have Georgia listed as an 8 point favorite with the over/under number listed at 54.5. Fans will be able to catch all of the action for this big game on ESPN nationally and streaming live on Watch ESPN. The kick-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. ET.
