The 2014 NCAA Tournament live stream and TV schedule for March 29 will feature a true David vs. Goliath match-up when the never say die No. 11 seed Dayton Flyers take on the No. 1 overall seed Florida Gators with a shot at a Final Four berth on the line.
According to a Sportsline report on March 29, Dayton coach Archie Miller may be the new media darling, but he is a genius at saying the right things. Dayton is a great team and they deserve credit, yet when asked about each and every opponent, Miller always says the right things. Sometimes he can make it sound like his Flyers have no shot at winning, like when talking about this big game vs. the Gators.
''You understand kind of their pedigree right now,'' Miller said. ''They're the number 1 overall seed for a reason. They've won 29 games in a row. I don't know who can help me, to be honest with you.''.
The Gators are the No. 1 team in the nation and the No. 1 overall seed in this year's tournament, yet if Dayton wants to shock the NCAA basketball world they will need to beat Florida and two more opponents before reaching their goal.
Truthfully Dayton has already shocked many fans by being the ultimate bracket buster so far. Can they really destroy million of brackets tonight by beating Florida?
It will be hard but that's why they call this tournament "March Madness!"
Florida will most likely win this game, but before you bet your mortgage on them just remember that Dayton has nothing to lose - as in NOTHING!
They should be the looser team in this match-up and they know experts think they aren't even supposed to be here. That's what makes them dangerous.
Las Vegas odds makers have Florida as a 10.5 point favorite with the over/under number set at 133.
Hmm, let's see. Dayton beat Ohio State, Syracuse and Stanford. Florida is the best, but I don't think Dayton will get crushed like most experts do. I'm sticking with the dog!
Pick: Dayton +10.5
