The 2014 NBA playoffs live stream and TV coverage continues Thursday with a huge double-header on the schedule, including the Indiana Pacers taking on the Washington Wizards in Game 6 of their best-of-seven Eastern Conference semi-final match-up. Indiana had a chance to close out this series Tuesday night at home, but the Wizards proved they will not go away easily. The late NBA live streaming action tonight features OKC taking on the Clippers.
According to a Sportsline report on May 15, Washington stayed alive by shocking the Pacers 102-79 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Game 5. Just when it looks like Indiana is starting to show why they were the No. 1 seed in the East, they once again look like a fish out of water in a key game. This series is really hard to figure out. Are the Pacers overrated, or is Washington better than experts give them credit for?
If Washington wants to force a Game 7, they need to do something they are having a difficult time with so far this postseason - win at home. In ten playoff games so far this season, the Wizards are just 1-3 at the Verizon Center, yet they are 5-1 on the road.
If Washington plays like they did in Game 5 tonight, they will have no problem forcing a game 7. The Wizards out rebounded the Pacers by 40. Now that is incredible! Getting out rebounded by that wide of a margin is almost unheard of.
''We should never get out rebounded by 40,'' Indiana's Paul George said. ''It was like their life was dependent on those rebounds.''
Even though Game 5 was a mess for the Pacers, they still lead the series 3-2 and are one win from advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals. The way Indiana has played so far in the postseason, advancing to the conference finals to face the Heat may be like walking into a lions den.
Las Vegas odds makers have the Wizards listed as a 4 point favorite with the over/under number set at 181. Just the fact that the Wiz are the favorites shows the lack of confidence in Indiana right now by Vegas sports books.
Fans can catch all the action for this big Game 6 on ESPN nationally and streaming live online through Watch ESPN. The game tips off at 8 p.m. ET.
