The MLB Power rankings for Week 2 are out and right now no one is doing things better in the majors than the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brew Crew have the league’s best record at 10-3 and are a perfect 6-0 on the road so far in 2014, yet experts are saying they aren't for real. The Dodgers, Tigers and Yankees may be big names that experts will find reason to put ahead of teams like Milwaukee, but the power rankings are all about right now, and right now it's the Brewers world!

According to a Sportsline report on April 15 Milwaukee has a big series vs the Cardinals this week, a team they have struggled with in the past. Yet even after dropping the first game of the series, the Brewers and their fans are still excited that 2014 could have big results as the team is off to their best start in 27 years.

Milwaukee may not finish the season at No. 1 in the power rankings, but they are on top of the rock right now. Right behind the Brew Crew are the Atlanta Braves, LA Dodgers and Oakland A's.

The 2014 World Series favorite LA Dodgers are off to a 9-4 start and are sitting on top of the NL West division one game ahead of the San Francisco Giants and three games ahead of the San Diego Padres. The Dodgers have the talent to go all the way in 2014, but it will depend if they can keep the inner peace in the locker room. Don Mattingly runs a tight ship and should have no problems if the team keeps up its great play.

On the disappointing side of the early power rankings are the Arizona Diamondbacks. After a promising end to the 2013 season, the D-backs were picked by many experts to make some noise in the NL West in 2014. However after a 4-12 start, the Diamondbacks are already 6.5 games out of first place and in danger of falling way behind the pack. It is still a long season, but Kirk Gibson will have to fire up the troops if Arizona is going to compete in 2014.

Here is a look at my current power rankings as of April 15. The Brewers are taking no prisoners so far, but can they keep it up?
