The Michigan Wolverines vs. Iowa Hawkeyes live stream and TV schedule NCAA Basketball game is scheduled to tip at 2:00 EST, and the Hawkeyes know they need this game if they want a shot at a Big Ten title. It won’t be easy though vs. a Michigan team that has played well on the road this season.

According to a Sportline report on Feb. 8, the 10th-ranked Wolverines will go for a season sweep of the regular-season series against No. 17 Iowa in Iowa City.

"There's a lot of reason for them to have some edge," said Michigan coach John Beilein, whose team has won at Michigan State and Wisconsin this season. "There's a championship trophy waiting for whoever can be the best in this league. If you're going to do this, you have to go and beat some really good teams."

After losing up-and-coming stars Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr. to the NBA, many experts thought the Wolverines would fall back a step or two this season. Michigan may miss their two leaders from last season, but they have shown that they have the depth and talent to make another run at a NCAA title.

Both teams come into today's key match-up at 17-5, but Michigan is 9-1 in the Big Ten Conference, while the Hawkeyes are 6-3.

Michigan has had the better of Iowa lately, as the Wolverines won 75-67 back on Jan. 22 in Ann Arbor, and they have beaten Iowa three of the last five times they have met.

Las Vegas odds makers have Iowa as the favorite today at -5, with the over/under number set at 155. Just the fact that Iowa is the favorite (despite losing their last two home games to Michigan State and Ohio State) shows how tough it is to win on the road in the Big Ten Conference. Iowa is tough as nails at home and will give the Wolverines all they can handle today in Iowa City.

The game can be seen locally and nationwide on ESPN and streaming live on WatchESPN.
