The 2014 NAHB International Builders' Show (IBS) will be held February 4-6 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Green education sessions offered will include:

- Marketing High Performance Green Homes: Myths, Lessons & the Future
- Great Places & Green Spaces: Curb Appeal Through Sustainable Community Design
- Building Energy Efficient Homes Without Breaking the Bank
- Geothermal Heating & Cooling: A Proven Renewable Energy Technology
There will be three live demonstrations plus one recap session daily of interactive construction demos led by top building experts. Each will be within a unique daily theme examining one high performance building (HPB) aspect. The latest methods, tricks and tips will be taught on the demonstration stage. Gord Cooke will discuss why HPB is important and energy efficient builder/teacher Rick Arnold will demonstrate the latest how to's. Improving energy efficiency for the entire house from basement to roof will be covered.
Winners of the awards for Advocates of the Year, Site Development and Green Projects of the Year in single-family, multifamily and remodeling will be toasted at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino on Wednesday night, February 5th from 7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate green building achievements with music, drinks and great food. Tickets cost $50 including dinner and open bar for those over 21 with ID. Register in advance on the website.
Free Exhibitor Floor Forums will be offered daily on the show floor from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. with no pre-registration required. Continuing Education credit of NAHB professional designations will be given. See the guide for the list of 15 participating companies and the forum schedule.

On top of all that are the free general seating opening ceremonies on Tuesday February 4th at 8 a.m. with General Stan McChrystal and a Cirque Fantastic performance, plus a concert that night from 5 to 7:30 in South Hall S4 by Pat Benatar with $35 tickets.
