The GoPro Mountain Games is the country’s largest celebration of adventure sports, music and mountain lifestyle. The games and action starts today, June 5, 2014, and continues over the weekend to June 8 in Vail, Colorado. Some of the athletes included in this outdoor event are dogs, better known as man’s best friend. Joining the 2014 GoPro Mountain Games is Wolfgang Man & Beast, a unique pet lifestyle brand that celebrates the distinctive relationship between a dog and his people. And what better way to depict the unique relationship with man and their furry friends than with the DockDogs events and other dog happenings that spectators will get to witness at the games.

The team at Wolfgang Man & Beast recognized that through their adventures while growing up, they were always flanked by their faithful, loyal four-legged friends. Their dogs were their shadows, guardians and partners sharing all kinds of outdoor ventures and they wanted to combine two of their favorite things with the Wolfgang brand; their beloved dogs and the process of creating world-class products.

Wolfgang’s American-made leashes and collars for dogs use only the finest American leathers and textiles. And of course, they couldn’t leave out quality products for the owners of these happy-go-lucky friends, so there are wallets, belts, t-shirts and hoodies for the dog’s humans.

With GoPro Mountain Games being all about adventure sports, music and mountain lifestyle, there are also art displays as well as the Mountain Click Photo Competition. Wolfgang collaborates with artists, photographers, world-class athletes, and entertainers to provide the inspiration for modern classic designs for their products. So it only makes sense that the games would place Wolfgang Man & Beast in the forefront of their target audience which allows Wolfgang to showcase their brand’s true mission of that special bond between man and their dog.

If you haven’t seen the DockDogs events that include the speed retrieve, extreme vertical and big air at the GoPro Mountain Games, make an effort to catch one of these competitions if you’ll be attending the games this weekend. You’ll be amazed at the speed, agility, distance and other talents that these canines have. And the best part of it all is the fun that these dogs have along with their proud owners at their performance. You can’t help but to smile wide when you watch the dogs jump long distances, get some big air, and swim to their absolute favorite toy amidst all the cheering from the crowd.

The 2014 GoPro Mountain Games is free to spectators. In addition to the dog competitions, professional and amateur outdoor adventure athletes will be competing in nine sports and 20+ disciplines that include slopestyle, road cycling, extreme kayaking, World Cup Bouldering, stand-up paddle sprint, trail running and many more sports. If you’re in Vail, Colorado this weekend, be sure to catch some of the exciting extreme sports, stop for a visit to Gerber Gear Town and the Adventure Village or take part in some of the free demos and clinics available during the GoPro Mountain Games.
