"Our opening night film for the 4th annual Fort Myers Film Festival began with the film 'Alive Inside: A Story of Music & Memory.'

This chosen film is an indie film about the treatment of Alzheimer's patients through music. The film earned the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award for U.S. documentaries for January 2014.

This was a great beginning for our five day gala event, and we look forward to the rest of the festival being just as exciting!" - Founder and Executive Director, Eric Raddatz

FMff will not only be held at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, but also at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, Alliance for the Arts and Broadway Palm Theatre.

Following this film screening was, and will continue to be, parties and dinners at Twisted Vine Bistro, a filmmakers lodge at Firestone, and breakfast panels at Bennett's Fresh Roast, plus other select venues.

FMff's full gala event is held March 19-23, 2014. For more about FMff, TGIM, tickets and event dates go to FMff, Facebook and Twitter.
