Panagbenga was a word rooted from the Kankanaey term which means “Seasons of blooming” or “a time for watering”, is also known as the flower festival of the Philippines. It is an annual event held during the month of February in Baguio City, Philippines. Also called the City of Pines, Baguio has grown popular to local and international tourists due to its cool weather.

With the theme “Inspiring the Community for a Greener Tomorrow”, this month-long celebration is packed with activities with the main events usually held during the weekends. Panagbenga is one of the most colorful festivals in the Philippines. Be ready to be amazed as the people of Baguio welcome you with amazing floats fully decorated with different kinds of flowers. Among the main attractions is the street dancing with the dancers dressed in colorful flower-themed costumes and native garments.


The festival is also a way for the town to showcase the best assets of the community. Aside from flowers, Baguio is also known for their local fruits and vegetables.
