2014 Fantasy Baseball: Top 10 players overall and where key Detorit Tigers' fall

See also has a list posted, ranking the top 300 players in regards to the 2014 fantasy baseball season. Here in Detroit, the Tigers have just one player in the top 25, Miguel Cabrera. Cabrera is ranked second overall, just behind the Los Angeles Angels’ Mike Trout. Rounding out the top ten are Andrew McCutchen (Pittsburgh), Paul Goldschmidt (Arizona), Carlos Gonzalez (Colorado), Chris Davis (Baltimore), Jacoby Ellsbury (NY Yankees), Edwin Encarnacion (Toronto), Robinson Cano (Seattle) and Clayton Kershaw (LA Dodgers).

Here are some notable ranking for some of our Tigers on the list:

Ian Kisler is ranked third among second basemen

Cabrera is ranked first among first basement

Tori Hunter ranks 35th among all outfielders, Austin Jackson is next at No. 36

Victor Martinez ranks second in DH’s.

Starting pitching has three of our Tigers’ in the top 15 (Max Scherzer at No. 6, Justin Verlander at No. 12 and Anibal Sanchez at No. 15)

Relief pitching features two from Detroit (Joe Nathan at No. 9 and Drew Smyly at No. 20)
