Easter 2014 falls on April 20 and there are plenty of ways for kids to celebrate throughout the month of April. Kids and teens have an opportunity to participate in Easter egg hunts in Florissant and Hazelwood.

Florissant

City of Florissant

The City of Florissant will host their Easter Egg Hunt and Snack With the Easter Bunny event on Saturday, April 5 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. At the James J. Eagan Center, children 12 and under can visit with the Easter Bunny, enjoy a light snack, and take part in some fun activities before participating in an Easter egg hunt.

Tickets are required for each child and may be acquired by visiting the James J. Eagan or John F. Kennedy Community Centers. There is no cost for tickets. For more information call the James J. Eagan Center at 921-4466 or the JFK Center at 921-4250.

Zion United Church of Christ

Zion United Church of Christ will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19 at 11:00 a.m. The church is located at 5710 U.S. 67. For more information call 314-741-1590.

Florissant Valley Christian Church

Florissant Valley Christian Church will hold its free Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12. The church is located at 1325 N. Highway 67. For more information call 314-837-6767.

Hazelwood

City of Hazelwood

The City of Hazelwood will hold a Teen Easter Egg Hunt at White Birch Park on Friday, April 4. Registration begins at 7:00 p.m. and the egg hunt begins at 7:45. Each registered participant will receive a flashlight for the after-dark egg hunt. Prizes will be awarded for specially marked eggs. To make the event more fun, a DJ will be playing teens favorite songs throughout the event.

Tickets can be purchased online through March 26 or at the recreation offices through March 30.
The cost is $10 per person.
