2014 Easter egg hunts in St. Louis: Ballwin Chesterfield area

St. Louis is hopping with Easter egg hunts and Easter activities for kids, including some in Ballwin, Manchester, Chesterfield, and Des Peres. Whether you’re looking for a spring festival complete with games and bounce houses for kids, or you just want the kids to get a picture with the Easter Bunny and gather a few eggs, there is bound to be an event that is just right for your family.

Ballwin

The city of Ballwin will host an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 19 at Vlasis Park. This event is open to children ages 2 through 8 and is free to all participants. The egg hunt begins at 1:00 pm. The Easter Bunny will also be available for photos for parents who bring their own cameras.

Chesterfield

United Methodist Church of Green Trails

United Methodist Church of Green Trails will host an Easter Celebration on Saturday, April 19 from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. The church will host Easter egg hunts for kids ages 0-10 and a separate egg hunt for adults. The Easter Celebration will also include a bounce house, face painting, games, visits with the Easter Bunny and a drawing for an Easter basket.

St. Louis Family Church

St. Louis Family Church will host their annual Easter egg hunts on Saturday, April 19 from 9:00 a.m. through noon. The event includes games and activities for kids and multiple age group Easter egg hunts beginning with the youngest group first at 9:00 a.m.

Manchester

First Evangelical Free Church will host a free Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 12 at 11:00 a.m.

Des Peres

Destiny Church invites the community to their Spring Festival on Friday, April 18. The event will include crafts, games, a petting zoo, free food, and an after-dark family Easter egg hunt by flashlight. The Spring Festival runs from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and is a free event. Destiny Church is located at 1809 Des Peres Road. For more information call 314-965-2122.
