On Saturday April 26th from 9am to noon, the City of Oakland is looking for volunteers to celebrate it's 20th Annual Earth Day. On Saturday April 26th the City of Alameda will celebrate Earth day in Washington Park at 740 Central Ave from 10am to 3pm. There will be free activities for the kids, games and exhibits. For more information log onto:

There are many ways for everyone to give back and help the environment. You can recycle cans, bottles and cardboard, you can purchase and install energy efficient light bulbs in your home and you can conserve water by taking shorter showers. These are only a few ways to get you started.
