This Tuesday, June 3, join the fun at Squatters Pub Brewery beginning at 5:30 p.m. as they kick off the 2014 Downtown Farmers Market season with a preview of the market and fundraising party!

Proceeds from this event go directly to market operations. This year funds are being raised to support the Music at the Market program and to replace seating and other items needed for market operations.

The Downtown Farmers Market has been a tradition since 1992 and this year begins June 14. Every Saturday morning from June to October, friends and neighbors gather in historic Pioneer Park for food and shopping opportunities.

At this year’s kick-off party, there will be food from your favorite vendors; drinks from local purveyors Squatters, Highwest and Mamachari; live music and a silent auction featuring local artists as part of the fundraising festivities.

Jason Stock, brewmaster at Squatters, has created Bumper Crop, a delicious ale using locally sourced ingredients, for the party. So be the first to check out this limited-edition beer!

Tickets for the fundraising party are $40 in advance or $50 at the door.
