2014 CIF-SS football coverage begins August 29

Fox Sports West and Prime Ticket, in partnership with the CIF-Southern Section (CIF-SS) recently announced the complete TV and online streaming schedule for the 2014 high school football season. The schedule includes 85 games across Fox Sports West, Prime Ticket and Prep Zone. All live game telecasts and web streams will kick-off at 7:30 p.m.

Prime Ticket will kick-off its 18th season of high school football on Friday, August 29 at 7:30 p.m. when Servite hosts Bishop Gorman in the Ford CIF Southern Section TV Game of the Week.

Also on August 29 at 7:30 p.m.,’s Prep Zone streaming platform will begin its fourth year of CIF-SS football coverage with Westlake at Canyon, Rancho Cucamonga at Trabuco Hills, Bishop Amat at Santa Margarita and Arroyo Grande at Lompoc.

Prior to live game coverage each week, the High School Spotlight pregame show will be offered on both TV and online platforms starting at 7:00 p.m. Kevin Barnett returns to host the live half-hour program from the Prep Zone studio alongside Scott Kennedy.

To wrap-up the Friday night programming block each week, the High School Spotlight Scoreboard show - with Barnett and Kennedy - will recap scores and highlights from across Southern California beginning at approximately 10:00 p.m.

Calling the action again this season on Fox Sports West and Prime Ticket, Mark Rogondino joins analyst John Jackson in the booth, while Rahshaun Haylock returns to the sidelines.

Also returning this fall, Fox Sports West or Prime Ticket will re-air the best Prep Zone game from the week prior. Each Prep Zone Encore telecast will air on Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m.
