2014 Chalet Toboggan Chutes

The Chalet Toboggan Chutes in Strongsville offers exciting winter time fun. These 1,000 foot ice chutes are Ohio's only public ice chutes. Open through March 9, 2014, they operate with or without snow.

Children must be at least 42" tall to ride and if under the age of 11, must be accompanied by an adult. All riders must wear gloves or mittens. In addition to tobogganing, you can enjoy hot cocoa at the snack bar and warm up in front of the fireplaces.

An adult all day ticket is $10 and $8 for kids age 11 and younger. If you only have time for one quick ride, you can purchase a one-ride ticket for $4. Ticket sales end one hour before closing. Hours are as follows:

  • Thursdays: 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.
  • Fridays: 6 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays: Noon - 10:30 p.m.
  • Sundays: Noon - 5 p.m.
