The Blue Cross Broad Street Run will be held on Sunday, May 4th. For the second year in a row, the race will use a lottery beginning at 12:01am Saturday February 1st and closing Thursday, February 13th at 11:59 p.m. EST. Sign up anytime throughout the almost two-week period. Link to the lottery will be posted at www.broadstreetrun.com. During the lottery registration process you will be required to complete the entry form with credit card information. If you are not selected, your credit card will not be charged. The entry fee for the 2014 race is $43.00. You may only register ONE time.
REGISTERING WITH A GROUP
If you would like to enter with friends or family, there will again be the option to register with a group up to seven members. If your group is selected in the lottery, all members are accepted. If your group is not selected, all members are rejected. Groups have the same chance of being selected as individual registrants. The first person in the group will set up the group.
An electronic drawing will be held and names of those selected will be available on Tuesday, February 18th. Additionally, an email will be sent to all those who entered the lottery indicating status.
A veteran runner is someone who has run the race for 10 years, consecutively or non-consecutively. Veterans must enter the lottery. If you do not get selected, you can submit a request to email@example.com by March 1. Be sure to enter the lottery!
