With the close of Bridal Fashion Week in New York, Pittsburgh offers it's own Bridal Fashion extravaganza. Sunday morning at 10:30, area brides began lining up at the doors of the fabulous Le Mont on Mt Washington for the Boutique Bridal Show, showcasing the latest in bridal fashion, accessories, venues and just about everything bridal.
At the forefront of the event, the newest styles in Bridal gowns for 2014.
The new look in bridal is loaded with chic silhouettes, breathtaking fabrics, and a touch of drama.
A variation of last years open back, the “X" back done in Chantilly lace or chiffon, accented with beading , offers a great alternative to strapless. As well as beautiful, extremely low backs with jeweled straps.
A sleek modern look is also prevalent with very little beading or embellishment. The gown becomes all about rich fabric and clean lines, with a less is more philosophy.
Another trend, ankle length hemlines. Fifties style waltz length dresses offer an alternative to the traditional bridal gown.
The Great Gatsby also seams to have had an impact on Bridal styles for 2014, with sheath style gowns embossed and embroidered in gold. Satin dresses are adorned with beaded cap sleeves and low “V” backs with pearl and crystal embellishment.
Bridal Beginning of Mt. Lebanon, showcased a representation of the newest gown styles for 2014. These exclusive styles were displayed in a stunning boutique setting with views of the beautiful Fall Pittsburgh day.
