2014 Boston Marathon Winner Trusts in Chiropractic

Of all the marathons that take place around the world, one of the most storied and legendary is the Boston Marathon. This year's marathon had 35,671 participants from 96 countries. Imagine the tenacity and athleticism that it takes to not only finish the marathon, but to beat the 35,560 other participants.

This year's winner was Meb Keflezighi, who also competed in the 2012 London Olympics. There are many aspects of training involved to compete in a marathon, and for Meb, chiropractic care is one of them. Speaking about Dr. Young following his victory, Meb said:

As an elite athlete, recovery and therapy is essential to staying healthy and competitive. I have seen Dr. Devin Young as my chiropractor for years and see him twice a week during training. His care has been especially helpful leading up to and including the Boston Marathon. I have been able to recover faster and easier after races. He is very knowledgeable and professional, and I am very thankful to have him locally to keep me healthy.

Chiropractic care has long been a vital component of training for many athletes, such as Tiger Woods, Allison Jones, and Tom Brady. For more information on a chiropractor in Augusta GA and how chiropractic can be integrated into your training, you can visit Georgia Clinic of Chiropractic.
