Muscle up craft beer lovers for Arizona's 14th Annual Strong Beer Festival on Saturday, Feb. 15 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix. The event kicks off Arizona Beer Week, a statewide celebration of craft breweries with over 250 events.
The Strong Beer Festival highlights a variety of strong beer concoctions brewed by Arizona's craft breweries. Beers high in alcohol content are featured along with signatures beers from local and national companies. A four-ounce tasting mug holds each sample allowing attendees to pick and choose which beers to taste using 15 tickets with the general admission fee.
As one of Arizona's largest events, the Strong Beer Festival gathers hundreds of thirsty beer drinkers. The taps continually pour an assortment of flavors of ales, stouts, lagers and ciders, to name a few. The festival is not without food vendors and music performers to entertain the crowd.
The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild hosts the event each year that includes a week-long schedule of beer events by participating breweries across the state. Beer week will be held Feb. 15 to 22. For more information on the events, the website is www.ArizonaBeerWeek.com.
