2013 Washington roller derby all-star team starter: Giggles

For the second year in a row, Apple City Roller Derby's Giggles has claimed a spot in the top-5 or "starting lineup" in Washington. Giggles finished 5th in the overall all-star voting and in a 6-way tie for 4th in the MVP voting. Here is what some of the voters had to say about her...

"So proud of her passion, her style, and joy for the sport." - Shell Shock

"Giggles is a strong player because she is nothing shy of merciless. Watching her skate is a true joy, because she is a total natural. I don't know her quite as well personally, so it's hard to say much, except she is a damn good skater." - Anonymous

"Pound-for-pound the toughest skater in the universe. A wolverine. 20 lbs of crazy in a 5 lb bag." - Anonymous

"Still the most feared on the track for her striker blocking skills and ridiculously awesome juking as a jammer! She really is a double threat!" - Hott Poppy-Rotzi

"I've only been able to see Giggles in action three times, but after the first, Giggles' crowd pleading skating skills, strength, & competitive tenacity gave evidence of her greatness." - Christopher Walkin
