Incredibly, there was a three way tie for the top NSO in Washington this year. Which means this honor will be split-up in three even ways in 2013 between Wizard of Laws, GoGo Kilt'em and Pintsize Pisces.

Wizard of Laws

"Wizard of Laws is one of the nicest officials in all of derby. He takes his job, whatever job that may be in a given bout, extremely seriously. I have seen him fret some small details in bouts he's done an amazing job in; a testament to his dedication and desire to provide the highest level of officiating possible. I love working with Laws. He's got a great personality! And he's a great NSO!" - Thurston Gore

"I've only worked with Laws a few times but he was very patient and listened to refs and skaters and coaches when conflicts arose. He was calm but firmly communicated why our crew made the right calls." - Anonymous

GoGo Kilt'em

"GoGo is quite possibly the perfect NSO. He is the definition of prepared (I mean, the guy basically created bout-in-a-box technology), dedicated (he's got the world-wide mileage to prove it), and most importantly, amazing. He is one of the smartest officials in roller derby, can work any position at the highest levels, and is a great crew head too. GoGo is truly an inspiring NSO and one who personifies the NShObo mentality!" - Thurston Gore

"GoGo is amazing because he always has a smile for everyone. He can do every position and he does it with style. I'm sure lots if people will talk about him as well." - Anonymous

Pintsize Pisces

"All derby, all the time. I think she may have a clone. She does it all from NSO'ing to helping set up and run all the bout logistics, to booking the bouts and writing the contracts." - Calamity Jane

"Pintsize emobodies the spirit of derby love by giving way more of herself than required as an NSO. She does extra volunteer jobs just because and she does it with a smile!" - Hott Poppy-Rotzi
