Thanks to rain in Indianapolis on Saturday, Sunday’s schedule at the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis has changed: the Traxxas Nitro Shootout for Top Fuel will be completed on Sunday after only one round could be completed on Saturday.
The Traxxas Nitro Shootout for Funny Car, which was already scheduled for Sunday, will continue as scheduled.
Before the rains came on Saturday, Shawn Langdon beat Brittany Force in their first-round macth-up, and Antron Brown defeated Khalid alBalooshi; Langdon and Brown will meet in Round Two. The other Round Two match-up will feature defending Traxxas Shootout champ Spencer Massey, who beat Bob Vanderriff Jr. in the first round, and Steve Torrence, who beat Tony Schumacher in Round One.
