2013 TV Cancellations (Photos)

The new year got off to a rough start for a few on the bubble primetime TV shows. This week FOX halted production and subsequently cancelled the critically acclaimed "Ben and Kate". In addition ABC pulled "Don't trust the B***h in Apt 23"from the air after the sophomore comedy continued to struggle to gain significant ratings in its time slot. It was also a rough week for TBS as they pulled the plug on "Wedding Band" starring Brian Austin Green.

Although ABC has not officially announced that "Don't trust the B****h in Apt 23" has been cancelled, the stars of the series have tweeted the demise of the series. There is no word on if or when the 8 unaired episodes of the series will air. "Ben and Kate" still has a few unaired episodes that are unlikely to see the light of day.

"The Carrie Diaries" which has aired only two episodes so far has put itself in the "toss up" category according to TVbythenumbers.com. The prequel to "Sex and the City" starring AnnaSophia Robb has garnered steady ratings but the next few weeks will determine its fate.

In better news, both "Community" and "Nashville" have propelled themselves to higher ratings and possibly pushed themselves in a better position to be renewed for next season. Although the networks have several months before making official announcements on what will return next season, the next few weeks are critical for shows on the bubble.

Which shows are you hoping return for next season?
