2013 track profile: Brainerd International Raceway and Resort

Brainerd International Raceway and Resort, home of the 32nd annual Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals, is located at 5523 Birchdale Rd. in Brainerd, Minnesota. It’s popular among NHRA fans that enjoy camping thanks to the availability of camping and other recreational activities like fishing.

The facility is more than 40 years, and consists of a quarter-mile drag strip, a 3.1-mile road course, and a 2.5-mile road course. The drag strip dates back to 1969, and also hosts weekly action. The road courses have hosted SCCA, Trans-Am, and Superbike series, and also hosts NASCAR’s K&N Pro Series West.
