2013 Seattle Pumpkin patches and corn mazes

It’s time to stomp through the fields to find the ideal pumpkins needed to finalize your Halloween décor. These Seattle area family farms are all great choices for pumpkins and many of them have a variety of other activities including corn mazes, farm petting zoos, hay rides, cooking demonstrations and haunted areas.

Along with a huge u-pick farm, guests can enjoy a hayride, play in the music garden, visit with farm animals, watch rubber duck races, singing chickens, a bouncy rodeo and u-pick lavender or sunflowers. If that weren’t enough, kiddos can conquer the Piggy Maze and the Tunnels of Hops Maze while more experienced solvers can hit the harder Color Maze and the No Left Turn Mazes.

Enjoy a day full of family fun at the farm’s annual Fall Festival where a $10 fee p.p. includes a variety of activities. Enjoy a hay bale maze, mini-tractors, pony rides, farm animal petting zoo, and unlimited use of the huge inflatables along with a large pumpkin patch. The Halloween Carnival price (adults $10, kiddos $12) includes all of the Fall Festival activities as well as trick-or-treating, a costume party Halloween games, prizes and much more.

Grab a complimentary ride out to the fields on the covered hay wagon to search for your soon to be jack-o-lanterns in the pumpkin patch! Kiddos can explore the free hay maze in the barn loft and visit with some of the farm animals. Parents can purchase organic produce and u-pick flowers, watch cooking demonstrations and take advantage of all the fun photo opportunities to snap some seasonal shots.

Maris Farms has a great setup for all ages: little ones will enjoy picking their own pumpkin, taking a pony ride, jumping in the bouncy house, visit with farm animals, explore the Kids’ Courtyard filled with children’s activities, grab a cow train ride, and giggle at the pig races and more. The daring can try the zip lines, the 6+ corn maze, super-sized jump pillow, Monster Truck Ride, spider web climber and the very scary Harvest of Terror! If you simply need a pumpkin, use their $5 pumpkin shopper option which is all credited towards the cost of your pumpkins.

Hop on a tractor-pulled hayride to search for the perfect pumpkin and large corn maze before stopping by the farm-stand for locally grown fruits and vegetables, gourmet food, yummy cheeses, breads and Northwest wines or brews. Leashed dogs are welcomed everywhere except the corn maze.
