Tommy Lee Jones had a special look at the Golden Globe Awards, but it appears he won’t be ready for a camera shot at the 2013 SAG Awards at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center. CNN along with other media networks on the red carpet has confirmed the actor won’t be attending the ceremony or the red carpet because he is fighting the flu.
While Tommy Lee Jones is nominated for his portrayal of Thaddeus Stevens in Lincoln, the nominee of the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role will need someone to pick up the award if he should win. One of the strongest categories at the show, it could be anyone’s guess on who might walk home a winner at the end of the evening.
Tommy Lee Jones isn’t the only one suffering from illness. Jennifer Lawrence is expected to hit the red carpet and she has pneumonia. While the show must go on, many stars in Hollywood have been suffering the flu and other ailments just in the middle of the award season.
