2013 Portland Super Bowl parties (Video)

The Super Bowl is likely one of the largest nation wide sporting events of the year. With that being said, football fans all over Portland are wondering where they can go to enjoy the game on a huge TV with good food, other fans, and beer. Fans have few options for Super Bowl XLVII as only a few bars have officially announced that they are hosting Super Bowl parties this year. If you are looking for a place to go to watch the game, here are some options.

  • Bunk Bar- Bunk is hosting a New Orleans style Super Bowl party for the Ravens and 49ers. They will be serving up New Orleans style food by the New Orleans trained chef Nick Wood. Three styles of po' boy sandwiches will be available; sloppy roast beef, fried red fish, and BBQ shrimp. The game will also be played on a large Hi-def television big enough to feel every tackle. The party starts at 3:30 p.m. at Bunk Bar located at 1028 SE Water Ave. All ages are welcome.
  • The Good Foot- Good Foot bar is hosting a Super Bowl party for those 21 and over. The game will be shown on a 15 foot projection screen TV in the upstairs lounge. There is no cover charge to get into the party, and all food and drinks will be sold at happy hour prices for the duration of the game. Kick off starts at 3:30 p.m. Good Foot is located at 2845 SE Stark Street. Please don't forget to bring valid ID.
  • Bossanova Ballroom- Bossanova is holding an epic Super Bowl party for likely one of the biggest game in history where brothers Jim and John Harbaugh will be playing against each other. fans are encouraged to dress for their choice of team and enjoy some beer and nachos while watching Super Bowl XLVII on a 30 foot movie screen. The party is free and doors open at 2:30 p.m. at 722 E Burnside St. Open to anyone 21 and over. Please don't forget ID.
