2013 PGA Merchandise Show is more than just golf

The 2013 PGA Merchandise Show officially begins on Wednesday with the annual Demo Day at Orange County National, and for may it kicks off the 2013 golf season.

This is THE show for everyone in the golf industry no only because all the major players when it comes to clubs, balls, and teaching aids are under one roof, it's because of innovation and different initaitves that are stressed each year.

This year fitness is a big topic at the show and for good reason. We are all trying to get more fit, and many of us trot out a New Year's resolution to lose weight, get in better shape, or get out and play more recreational sports. Golf is making every effort to be that sport.

So this year, the show is offering a new FIT to W.I.N. pavilion sponsored by the Titleist Performance Institute. This pavilion will focus on the health benefits of golf along with the programs and products that aid in increasing fitness and performance. There will be daily and hourly presentations by industry health, fitness experts. They will help your get in shape and prevent injuries in golf and so much more.

Women's/Tour Fitness
