The 2013 red carpet fashion season kicks off with the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday, January 9th. From who's wearing whom and what, to who will make the best or worst dressed on the red carpet, fashion fans are looking forward to this year's red carpet trends, wins and losses.
For fashion observers, the People's Choice Awards are a fashion preview of the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild Awards and ultimately, the Academy Awards.
We are betting on some form of red for this stylista. Whether it’s her dress, or lips or accessories, she will definitely wear it.
Until then, we have chosen our two picks for Swfit’s most fabulous People’s Choice Awards style. We adore the Grecian-style J. Mendel Spring 2011 dress that the singer rocked on the 2011 red carpet. She accessorized the chic, pleated dress with nude Prada heels and Neil Lane jewelry.
Swift's simple look on the 2011 red carpet was just as elegant as the white Jenny Packham Resort 2010 dress she wore to the 2010 People's Choice Awards. Classic, chic and not too fussy, Swift accessorized the white look with Christian Louboutin heels.
Swift is up for awards including, Favorite Female Artist against Adele, Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry and Pink; and Favorite Country Artist against Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean and Tim McGraw.
Other stars scheduled to attend include Chloë Grace Moretz, Olivia Munn, Ellen DeGeneres, Johnny Galecki, Regina King, Marisa Tomei, Jared Padalecki and Josh Hutcherson, among others. The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco will host the show for the second time in a row. It is scheduled to air live from the Los Angeles Nokia Theater on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
