The 2013 red carpet fashion season kicks off with the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday, January 9th. From who's wearing whom and what, to who will make the best or worst dressed on the red carpet, fashion fans are looking forward to this year's red carpet trends, wins and losses.
For fashion observers, the People's Choice Awards are a fashion preview of the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild Awards and ultimately, the Academy Awards.
No stranger to best dressed accolades on the red carpet, Nina Dobrev is one fashionista to watch this red carpet season. Whether she’s rocking or Ellie Saab or custom Donna Karen, Dobrev always keeps it elegant, stylish and stunning.
One of our favorite People’s Choice Awards looks was Dobrev in a chic Elie Saab Spring 2012 dress at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards. She accessorized with a Lauren Merkin clutch and nude heels. Will Dobrev do emerald green this time? Or perharps any of her gold or red signature looks? Another Donna Karen or Elie Saab look would be fabulous.
Either way, we can expect this fashionista on the best dressed list. Dobrev is up for Favorite Dramatic TV actress against Ellen Pompeo, Emily Deschanel, Ginnifer Goodwin and Stana Katic.
Other stars scheduled to attend include Chloë Grace Moretz, Olivia Munn, Ellen DeGeneres, Johnny Galecki, Regina King, Marisa Tomei, Jared Padalecki and Josh Hutcherson. The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco will host the show for the second time in a row. It is scheduled to air live from the Los Angeles Nokia Theater on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
Nominees and winners are determined by the People – fans. Visit http://www.PeoplesChoice.com/pca/vote/ to learn more.
