Watch the 2013 "People's Choice Awards" on CBS starting at 9 p.m. ET on Jan. 9, 2013. The 39th edition of the popular awards show will be a star-studded event hosted by Kaley Cuoco from the "The Big Bang Theory."
The show will feature musical performances by Alicia Keys, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus.
There are 40 different categories in the 2013 "People's Choice Awards", with music artists, actors, actresses and talk show hosts vying for awards in categories like Favorite Pop Artists, Favorite Country Artist, Favorite Action Movie, Favorite Daytime TV Host, Favorite Late Night Talk Show Host, and Favorite TV Comedy.
Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has the most nominations this year. Levine has six nominations in both the music and TV categories including Favorite Band, Favorite Song, Favorite Album, Favorite Music Video, Favorite Celebrity Judge, and Favorite Competition TV Show.
Leading the pack for individual nominees is Justin Bieber who has five nominations in the music category including Favorite Male Artist, Favorite Pop Artist, Favorite Album, Favorite Music Video and Favorite Music Fan Following.
Bieber is up against Blake Shelton, Chris Brown, Jason Mraz, and Usher in the Favorite Male Artist category.
Adele, Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry, Pink, Taylor Swift will all be competing for the Favorite Female Artist award this year.
"American Idol", "America's Got Talent", "Dancing with the Stars", "The Voice", and "The X Factor" are all competing for the Favorite Competition TV Show category at the People's Choice Awards.
