Giving fans a fashion preview of what to expect on this year’s red carpet, ‘The Sessions’ actress Helen Hunt wowed in blue at the 2013 Palm Springs International Film Festival on Jan. 5.
Hunt wore a blue Michael Kors gown, which flattered her hair and skin tone, according to a Jan 5 Hollywood Reporter article. The actress accessorized with Rene Caovilla heels, a Swarovski clutch, a Charles Albert cuff and London Manori earrings, reports Just Jared.
Hunt received the Spotlight Award. Palms Springs Film Festival Chairman Harold Matzner called ‘The Sessions’ star “[a] consummate actress, director, producer and screenwriter,” whose “talents are myriad.” Past recipients of the Spotlight Award include Jessica Chastain and Amy Adams.
Other attendees and honorees included, Diane Lane, Naomi Watts, Richard Gere, Sally Field, Helen Mirren, Ben Affleck and Bradley Cooper. ‘Entertainment Tonight’ Television Personality, Mary Hart hosted the gala event.
The 2013 Festival runs from January 3-14 at the Palm Springs Convention Center and includes over 400 screenings of more than 200 films from approximately 60 countries. For ticket information to the gala or other festival events, call (760) 322-2930 or go to www.psfilmfest.org.
