2013 NORAD Santa Tracker: Track Santa on Christmas Eve online, iPhone, GM Onstar

See also

Where is Santa right now? With just hours to go before Christmas arrives, children can track Santa online, using an iPhone or iPad app, via email, or using GM's OnStar.

As Saint Nick makes his journey around the world with a sleigh full of toys and gifts, kids can keep tabs on Santa's journey as early as 5 a.m. ET on Dec. 24, 2013.

Keep tabs on Santa on NORAD's website; via the NORAD Tracks Santa iPhone app; using the Santa Tracker for Android phones; or by pressing the blue OnStar button on GM equipped vehicles.

Sending a letter never goes out of style, but it's quicker to get information by email. Especially when it pertains to Santa and his reindeer. Starting on Dec. 24, 2013, kids can send the folks at NORAD an email (noradtrackssanta@outlook.com). A staff member will send a return email with Santa's last known location.

NORAD is also keeping children updated about Santa's whereabouts on social media site. Keep up to date with the latest Santa-happenings on Twitter, Facebook, G+ and YouTube.

Here's how to track Santa right up until bedtime on Christmas Eve:

  • Android: Download the Santa Tracker for Android in Google Play
  • OnStar: If you have an OnStar equipped vehicle, push the blue OnStar button from 7 a.m. on December 24 until 5 a.m. on December 25 to get a Santa update.

Keep up with Santa's journey using social media:

The NORAD Tracks Santa Operations Center opens on Dec. 24 at 5:00 a.m. ET and remains open until 5:00 a.m. ET on Dec. 25, 2012.
