2013 NHL season begins tomorrow with 13 games, Wings in St. Louis (Video)

The shortened 48 game 2012-13 NHL schedule begins Saturday with a boat load of games, including our Detroit Red Wings traveling to St. Louis to battle the Blues at 8 p.m. The Wings will then travel to Columbus for a contest with the Blue Jackets on Monday before coming home to open for their first game at Joe Louis Arena when they welcome in the Dallas Stars. Here is the rest of the slate for the Western Conference for opening day/night:

Chicago @ Los Angeles, 3 p.m. NBC

Columbus @ Nashville, 8 p.m.

Phoenix @ Dallas, 8 p.m.

Colorado @ Minnesota, 9 p.m.

Anaheim @ Vancouver, 10 p.m. CBC
