According to a bigblueview.com Sept 8 report, the Giants should feel right at home Sunday night when they take on the Cowboys in Dallas. Since Dallas opened their new stadium back in 2009, Eli Manning and the NY Giants have defeated them every time they have played there.
That can't make Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones very happy.
If Dallas has one piece of history on their side tonight, it's that the Giants are 0-5 in season-openers against the Cowboys. However the G-Men are 20-12 during the first month of the season over the last decade. They will have a bit of extra incentive tonight vs. Dallas as New York attempts to become the first team to ever host a Super Bowl and play in it.
Justin Tuck thinks the Giants have what it takes to pull that feat off.
"For us it is all about staying healthy," said end Justin Tuck, one of numerous Giants defensive players looking to bounce back from subpar seasons. "We obviously know what it takes to get to the top of that mountain."
Week 1 is never really a "must win" game, but it seems like Dallas has to win tonight, don't they? Romo gets a ton of hype for a team that never does much and the Cowboys are "America's team" right? Nevertheless, the Giants won't be in a giving mood tonight.
You can catch all the action for this game on NBC nationally and on NBC live stream. This game should be a great one.
