Let us begin with best wishes to all of my readers in this New Year of 2013.
This writer has purposely not written much regarding politics since this past November 6th, 2012 to gain perspective on the best direction in which this Country should proceed.
After the election, this writer was very disappointed when he heard the same old rhetoric, issues and political dogma once again emerge as the dominate manner of political discourse.
Further, regardless of who they voted for, a large number of voters were not happy with choices they had to select from for President and other offices. These choices were forced upon them by the Establishment of both major parties.
Liberty died a little bit more this year as both major political parties decided to abandon the Rule of Law and resurrect the political philosophy known as the Divine Right of Kings.
- In the Republican party, we saw the GOP Establishment stack the rules committee to pass rules that make grassroots participation even more difficult;
- In the Democratic Party, we saw the Democrat Establishment blatantly lie about the outcome of a vote regarding the mention of God and Jerusalem in their platform.
These two Un-American acts by both major political parties demonstrated to Americans of every political stripe that our political parties no longer represent us but rather manage us like livestock. When their duplicity fails, they resort to the philosophy of “Might makes Right”.
With so much money and power aligned against WE THE PEOPLE, it is difficult to know where to start. But start somewhere we must.
This writer has concluded that WE THE PEOPLE must take on the role in framing the issues of future elections instead of allowing the 2 major parties and the press to do so.
Further, WE THE PEOPLE must no longer allow the ruling class to divide and conquer us. The 66% in the middle of the political spectrum are the rightful natural majority. http://goo.gl/eKd44 Yet somehow extremist on the far right and far left, set the political agenda and frame elections. The pretense is that our elected officials and government represent WE THE PEOPLE; the reality is that they divide manage and manipulate WE THE PEOPLE like livestock. This must stop. And every one of WE THE PEOPLE must make the conscious effort to quit allowing our political parties to play us for fools.
In observing human behavior and the realities of day to day life, this writer has came to the conclusion that the manner of achieving a change in the nature our political process must not be overly time consuming nor difficult. Participants must be given activities to participate in and data to digest so that they may form their own opinions and conclusions, rather than forcing participants to accept the perspectives of others on various issues. And the process should create a sense of unity and commonality of cause amongst the participants. The Process must be inclusive of all races, colors, religions and creeds.
To that end, this writer asks you to make your 2013 New Year’s Resolution to participate in a “Political Boot Camp. As with a military boot camp, the point being is to forge shared beliefs, comradery, direction and priorities by experiencing a shared hardships and experiences. The first year of this Political Boot camp is going to be relatively simple and easy.
And it addresses a fundamental precept of the Founding Fathers in drafting our constitution and Bill of Rights that has been subverted by the politicians and bureaucrats over the years.
The fundamental understanding our US Founding Fathers had in drafting our constitution, is People under Natural Law have free will, and are not virtuous by nature. Therefore, governments must be constructed in anticipation of the nature of man. Acting on this knowledge, our Founding Fathers built into our Government and Constitution, various checks and balances. The reason that our politicians are so successful in duping WE THE PEOPLE with smoke and mirrors is they have dismantled the transparency, accountability and checks and balances that is supposed to be present. Without Transparency WE THE PEOPLE must rely on what they tell us. And we rank and file Americans know how to tell when a judge or politician is lying – “Their lips are moving”.
For example, right now the hot topic is who does and who does not pay enough taxes. How can any of us know the answer when the data is not made transparent to us?
Is there any one among you that don’t think citizens are entitled to see the financial records of our government? Is there any among you that don’t think that transparency and accountability are not necessary to prevent Government corruption from running wild?
Our Government has virtually no fiscal transparency. Oh sure, there are huge numbers compiled and presented to us, but there is a lot you can hide in those huge numbers.
For 4 years this writer has sought and been denied the financial records of Wright County, Minnesota. The question is: "If government finances are supposed to be public record (and they are) why isn’t the actual check register for every municipality posted on the internet for each of us to audit? The vicious nature of their refusal to release said records and their retaliation against this writer for seeking said release, seem to indicate that Wright County Minnesota Officials have something to hide. And you will find this the case in almost all municipalities within the United States.
POLITICAL BOOT CAMP 2013
EXERCISE 1
To that end, as exercise 1 of our 2013 Political Boot camp, this writer asks each of you to write, fax or go in person to your state senator and state representative and ask them to pass the following legislation:.
Requiring all of our State Municipalities (Cities, Counties, Schools, Port Authorities, Airport Commissions, Super Counties, Met Councils, etc) to post their budgets, actual spending and actual revenue on the internet in layman’s terms with no aggregates over $100. http://bit.ly/LUL6H5
From your experiences in dealing with politicians of both parties on this matter, you will learn how your elected officials really feel about citizens and Government Transparency. And you will understand a shared understanding of situation we need to align ourselves against. If you fear retaliation, mail your letters without your name and return address and include in the letter why you don’t want to be identified. Resolve to contact your state representatives at least once a month for the next twelve months to get municipal budget posted on the internet in a meaningful format such as this writer has proposed. Consider this Item 1 of our political boot camp.
Select a political boot camp buddy or form a political boot camp group. Get together once a month and share your experiences and discuss the conclusions you are reaching form this exercise.
EXERCISE 2
Natural Law, Natural Rights, Divine Right of Kings, Consent of the Governed and the Enlightenment. To help us share a common perspective to evaluate experiences and data we encounter, we must each study, abide by and evaluate our experiences in the context of Natural Law. Such knowledge will allow you to protect yourselves the propaganda, censorship and indoctrination of the Ruling Class and the major media.
Form Natural Law Study groups and discuss Natural Law, Consent of the Governed and the related topics. Coworkers, neighbors, congregation members, Fraternities, Sororities, Legion Halls, VFW’s, FFA and Shriner groups are all great possibilities for forming Natural Law Study Groups.
Contact and/or serve on your school’s curriculum review board and get these topics into the curriculum. Discuss these topics with your children. Lazy dad syndrome? Have your child write a report on these topics as a class project. Then Read it. Then ask them what they think about it.
Are you a scout leader or leader of some other youth organization, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4H or Future Farmers of America? Natural Law and Consent of the Governed are some of the most laudable topics you can teach young minds.
Churches, Mosques, Temples and other religious groups have here an opportunity to get more new members familiar with the church.
To increase membership, may I suggest you hold Secular based Natural Law Study groups? As Natural Law can be thought of as secular or as a gift from God, at the end of the lecture, presentation, discussion or study group you can make overtures to those gathered that it is your perspective is that Natural Law is a gift from god. And invite them to your next sermon which will be on something like “Natural Law from the perspective of God”.(Please emphasize that tenants and requirements of Natural Law are valid and binding whether the individual chooses to view Natural Law from a Secular perspective or as a divine gift)
These studies will give us a common point of reference. Further, it will help us understand what the Founding Fathers were thinking when they crafted the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. (You can find reference to the “laws of nature” and “inalienable rights” within the Declaration of Independence.
Instead of letting the corrupt, incumbent ruling class elite set the political agenda and drive the political debate, a large number of citizens viewing life, liberty and happiness through the application of Natural ‘Law will set their own political course and be resistant to the duplicity and machinations of the ruling class and major media.
EXERCISE 3
Next Political Boot Camp Agenda is for each of us to engage in Critical Thinking.
Our Politicians are intentionally duplicitous and is our major media are complicit in this duplicity. Our Politicians use the propaganda strategy espoused by Edward Bernays. EXERCISE 4
Learn to play Chess.
The purpose of this being to learn to think a few political moves ahead. Learning to play chess will alert you to ponder what the actual motivation of each act of a politician, our government or major media might be. And then start anticipating what the next move and/or the intended goal and/or end game of each particular act might be. Instead of reacting to events, you can become proactive.
EPILOGUE
This writer hopes you will accept his challenge for you to make this “mini Political Boot Camp” your New Year’s Resolution for 2013.
The Ruling Class pretending to be 2 separate major political parties has divided and conquered WE THE PEOPLE. They have made it nearly impossible for rank and file Americans to know what the “truth” is.WE THE PEOPLE are purposely and constantly being subjected to crisis after crisis so pushed off center and paralyzed to move towards any meaningful resolution.
This writer hopes that after this 1st year of Political Boot Camp the 2/3rds of American’s in the political center will come to trust their fellow 66%’ers (http://goo.gl/TmoCR ) and this writer, so we can forge an alliance to wrest control of our country from the corrupt, incumbent Ruling Class Elite.
